Chimera Portraits

The work of Margaret Hart, as part of the Endpoint Collective, builds on larger themes of Climate Change though the lens of social and climate justice, exploring gender issues, postman understanding of non-hierarchical positioning of humans and non-human beings (animals, fauna, the earth, other planets, etc.) and speculative futures. Hart uses the interdisciplinary practices of science fiction, collage animation artwork, and feminist theory to inform and create her artworks. The works address the entangled and sprawling problems which have been unleashed on the planet in the Anthropocene, while also exploring speculative futures in this posthuman era.
